Why we make our own
Every welding brand sold in South Africa is imported. When one breaks, the shop that sold it sends it back to the distributor. The distributor sends it back to the manufacturer. The manufacturer sits on it. Meanwhile you're not welding.
AWS Welders is our answer to that. We spec the machine, we assemble it, we hold the spares, and we back it from the same Spartan workshop that repairs every other brand in the country. When something goes wrong — and eventually something goes wrong on every machine — the fix happens on our bench, not somewhere overseas.
That's the whole play. Not cheaper for the sake of cheap. A house-brand machine at a fair price with real support behind it.
The range
We keep the range tight on purpose. Inverter machines for the jobs most South African welders run day-to-day — home workshops, small fabricators, mobile welders, farm sheds. If your work sits outside that, we'll usually point you at an imported brand we stock rather than sell you the wrong AWS Welder.

The local advantage
A warranty that doesn't send your machine overseas. If it fails within warranty, we honour it on our bench in Kempton Park. No shipping to distributors, no waiting for a manufacturer to open a ticket.
Every AWS Welder we ship has its full spare-parts inventory held at our workshop. Boards, fans, MOSFETs, rectifiers, control panels, cables — all local, all available.
Out of warranty, we still service the machine on our bench. Same welders, same spares, same-day quote. That's not true of most imports once the warranty runs out.
